The Belgian goalkeeper began his career in the Premier League, where he was signed by Sunderland for around 3 million euros in 2010. However, Mignolet was purchased by Liverpool for around 13 million euros in 2013, following a fantastic performance against them at the Stadium of Lights.

Samir Handanovic, a Slovenian goalkeeper, currently plays for Inter after spending his first season in Italy with Udinese. Many clubs were interested in his performances while wearing the Friulian shirt, with Inter winning his contract for around 13 million euros. 

Despite Inter's poor performance in that championship, he was named to the best team of the year in Serie A in his first year at the club.

Angelo Peruzzi was one of the best goalkeepers in Italian football history. He had a successful career at Juventus, winning three championships and the Champions League. After eight seasons with Juventus, Peruzzi moved to Lazio in 2000 for around 22.5 million euros, where he amassed 225 appearances despite his 30 years, including a role in the victorious 2006 World Cup with the blues.

At the age of 19, Manchester United signed the Spanish goalkeeper from Atletico Madrid for a fee of 27 million euros, bringing him to the Premier League for the first time. He was chastised in his first season in the Premier League, particularly for his frail and frail physique.
