Top 16 Best Starters In The Premier League's 2022 Season

Let's take a look at the best starters in the history of the Premier League.

1. Ben Godfrey (77, DC) - Everton, England

This year's Premier League has a plethora of quick central defenders, which may relieve some of the market pressure on Liverpool's Joe Gomez. FIFA players, on the other hand, are creatures of habit, so we expect Gomez to be very expensive right away.

However, there is another English defender with a speed of over 80 who can assist your starting lineup at Stanley Park. And, hopefully, it won't cost you your kidney.

2. Christian Pulisic (82, AS) - Chelsea, USA

There are numerous options for a quick right-winger on this list - so many that Adama Traoré can be left off - but the left side may be more difficult to fill. There are more expensive options, such as Marcus Rashford, but for the time being, we expect Pulisic to be the starter.

To be fair, you could just buy two cheap right-handed players and play one with no chemistry on the left, but check the prices and consider Pulisic if possible.

3. Daniel James (77, ED) - Leeds United, Wales

Dan James is tempting with a speed of 95. Dan James will slide the ball along the wing and serve it on a plate for your striker, among the many sprinters on the right who are quite interchangeable in the early stages of the game. It will be runny fat in any other capacity.

4. Davinson Sanchez (79, DC) - Spurs, Colombia

Spurs defender Sanchez is unlikely to cost as much as Joe Gomez due to his Colombian ties and sub-80 speed, but if you need to fill a central defender position, he's a solid choice in every way.

5. Diogo Jota (82, AS) - Liverpool, Portugal

EA has done Jota a disservice with this rating, but if you don't mind an attacker with less than 90 percent haste, his five-star weak foot will be invaluable. Set him up as an attacker and move a quick player to his wing, or in a 4-3-3 or similar formation.

But don't dismiss it; it will be extremely useful to you, and given Liverpool's current form, it will almost certainly earn a fitness card or two, raising its price if purchased loose.

6. Edouard Mendy (83, POR) - Chelsea, Senegal

There are a lot of good goalkeepers in the Premier League, so they won't be a top priority right away. However, if you can get Chelsea's 2-meter goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, you'll be fine for months. He could emerge as the new Nick Pope this year, especially if the latter's price tag skyrockets due to his legacy status

7. Emerson Royal (79, TD) - Tottenham Hotspur, Brazil

Emerson Royal isn't particularly quick, but at this point in the game, it doesn't really matter (better focus your coins on other areas of the team). Spurs' ties to Brazil are advantageous, and he stands one meter and eighty centimeters tall, so if the crosses prove decisive, he will have a say.

8. Ibrahima Konaté (78, DC) - Liverpool, France

Despite his lack of speed, we expect Konaté to be expensive from the start, thanks to his ties to Liverpool and France.

9. Lucas Moura (81, ED) - Tottenham Hotspurs, Brazil

Lucas' speed allows him to be effective on the flanks as well as in attack.

Although this Brazilian Spurs winger isn't as well-known as he once was, he's still lightning quick. Lucas is likely to be a stretch for some starting lineups, as players often follow their instincts regardless of rating. However, if and when you can catch him, his skills and four-star weak foot make him an excellent striker.

10. Martin Ødegaard (82, COC) - Arsenal, Norway

After a positive loan from Real Madrid, Arsenal completed the purchase of degaard in the summer, and if you like to build your attack around a COC, the Norwegian is a good option for the first few weeks. His five-star skills and good dribbling and passing make him difficult to stop, though his weak foot may be an issue.

11. Nathan Aké (78, DC) - Manchester City, Netherlands

This Dutch City defender has a speed of less than 80, so he'll be less expensive than Joe Gomez (and possibly Ben Godfrey as well), but he's still a good defender.

12. Rodrigo (79, COC) - Leeds United, Spain

Rodrigo, a Spanish attacking midfielder, should do well as a starting forward despite not having exactly inflamed hearts in the Premier League - and EA has also reduced his speed. With the right understanding style, his speed below 90 can be increased to the maximum, and his shot cuts a good figure in an early-cycle team.

13. Saúl Niguez (82, CC) - Chelsea, Spain

Following his loan transfer to Liga champions Atletico Madrid, Sal is another player who has yet to make an impact in the Premier League, but the midfielder has a strong reputation. As an all-court midfielder, a well-balanced player with a weak four-star foot should be effective.

14. Sergio Reguilón (81, TS) - Tottenham Hotspur, Spain

Sergio Reguilón is your long-term left-back option. With the departure of Patrick van Aanholt to Galatasaray, the Premier League is experiencing an unusual shortage of quick left-backs early in the game, which is why Sergio Reguilón may be more expensive than it would be under normal circumstances. However, if you are successful in purchasing him, the former Real Madrid player will hold his ground for a long time.

15. Steven Bergwijn (80, ES) - Tottenham Hotspur, Netherlands

If EA has boosted the speed of central defenders, it has been less kind to the wings - at least in the Premier League, where Bergwijn is one of many who has lost a few "notches" in speed. Early in the game, the Dutch forward should still be an effective winger, and his dribbling prowess allows him to move comfortably on the inside and participate in offensive play.

16. Thomas Partey (83, CC) - Arsenal, Ghana

Anyone can pick Ngolo Kanté of Chelsea for their Premier League midfield, but the Ghanaian Arsenal defender will do a good job early in the game cycle and will offer more going forward than some of the alternatives.
