Chelsea will reduce footballers' wages by 10% for four months, from March to June, in the Premier League, the Serie A football championship in England. This was revealed by Cesar Azpilicueta-the team's defender and captain. Between the London club and the players, an agreement has been reached. For the next four months, Frank Lampard's paycheck will be lowered by 25%.

Chelsea will save €11 million as a result of this deal. If the Premier League, which has been suspended since March due to the Coronavirus outbreak, does not resume, this will happen. If they return to the field in May or June, the contracts of players, coach, and Chelsea will have to be amended. All of this will be determined by the impact of  Covid-19.
